The Maddison Bignall Ball is this Friday, we are all very excited and hope everyone enjoys the evening.
To everyone who is coming, literally have a ball!!!!
Tomorrow (27th Oct) will be a year since Maddie died, her Dad , brother Ken and myself will stay up through the night with candles lit, while we quitely reflect .
Today we went to to the United Reform Church in Long Eaton Notts where her Dad and I were married, where Maddie was Christened (all by Rev Jim Maddison, who Maddison was named after) and where we said our farewells to her. There was a normal service during which Maddie was remembered , we sang a hymn we had specially choosen.
Remember her through smiles and laughter.
Maddison my love, Fly high, Laugh loud!!

Hi to everyone,
Hi to Kayleigh, thanks for your bit in the guestbook. Yes I am sure Maddie would love the site we have done for her. Hope you had a good break from School. Love to you and your family.
We went down to Victoria Embankment Sunday 1st June to cheer on Maxine and her Mum, they did the Race for Life and put Maddie's picture on their backs. They completed the circuit. Well done girls. They raised money for Cancer Research. We also caught up with Matts' cousin Louise who also completed the course raising money for Cancer Research I think her time was around the 25mins mark. Well done Lou.
Nothing else from me at the moment.
Hope every one is well

Hi Guys
Sorry its been a while.
Bradley , thanks for asking how we are. In reply we are doing ok thanks. Hope you are well. Enjoy the week break from school.
Danni, Glad you got the birthday card from us and that you had a great birthday. Matt enjoyed talking to you the other day.
To everyone who had the photo taken at William Alvey School, the item did not make it to the papers but I have traced the guy who took the photo . As soon as he sends me a copy I will post it on the site and send a copy to school for each person on it.
Hope every one at William Alvey has a great holiday next week, have fun and take care. It will be a welcome break for the treachers, I wish them a nice break.
We have sent some flowers to cheer up a young lady in Newark who was robbed this week as we knew this would have been something that Maddie would have wanted to have done.
To Jodie,
Hi. Maddie would be thrilled that you have dedicated 'Breaking Free' as your song for Senior Baton in her memory. U bet she will be there cheering you all on! She loved every minute at Baton especially the lovely friends she had there. Say Hi to your Mum from me. Good luck for the Competion . Keep us posted how you all do.
Love to all

Hi Jess
Hi Jess,
Thanks for your messages. As I told Danni I read all of them. It was great to see you and all of Maddie's friends at assembly. That was a lot of fun! Great competition and a good amount of money raised. Will send a copy of the photo taken at the School Gates, it should have been in the paper last week but I was away and did not see it. I will order a copy to be sent to my home.
Love from Jane.

Hi Danni
Just wanted to say hi to you. Thanks for all your messages. I read every one just cause you do not hear from me does not mean I dont care. It was nice to see you and Maddie's friends on Friday at assembly. What a lot of money was raised! The 'put a pattern on the baton' competion was a great idea , Matt and I loved looking at all the entries. When I get a copy of the photo, taken at the School gates ,I will send a copy for you and the others in the picture to school. Take care. Love from Jane x

Hi All
Just to let you know , we were at 'Maddies Day' at the William Alvey School on Friday . I have to tell you it was a fabulous day.
All the children were in Black and White and there were pictures of Maddison all over the School Hall.
There had been a competition ' design a pattern on the baton ' in honour of Maddies love for Baton Twirling and Jane gave out the prizes to 7 winners.
The trust donated £2000 to school , Mr Jackson has promised to put it to good use in benefitting the children and their educational needs . I will keep you posted on any more news with this.
A big hello to all Maddies friends at the school , it was great to see you all again , thanks for all your messages and thoughts , it really helps.
'Maddies Day' raised over £500 for the trust and we are delighted . We are currently planning who , where and when the donations will be put to good use .
There are many many good causes and we are trying to make sure that we focus the monies raised on helping as many people as possible. More news to follow
Finally , There was a photogropher from the Sleaford Target at ' Maddies Day ' . Apparantly , there will be photo's in the Target on Wednesday April 9th 2008 .
Keep Smiling , Matt ( Maddies Dad )
